Hello,
I have a Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra phone with Android 7.0, the Developer tools and the System UI Tuner on.
The issue is that I cannot turn off showing of the white circles around the numbers while typing a PIN at the lock screen. The Glove Mode is unavailable on my phone, and it was agreed by the Sony technical support. Having got that approval I was given a piece of advice to leave a message at this forum as a request for change - please, consider adding an option to turn off visibility of touches on lock screen while entering a PIN.
Kind regards,
Paul.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Under developer options you should see show touches or show taps.
Alexdon thank you for your reply.
Yes, right, I can see them. These options of the Developer settings have been checked before posting my issue, and were turned off. So, the circles are still being showed somehow.
Best wishes,
Paul.
Reboot is done. Unfortunately, nothing changed. Still have white circles when touching digits.
@Phnu so sorry for not noticing the PIN part in your subject. Thought it's in general. This is the default behaviour since 6.0 I believe.
Hi Alexdon,
as far as I understood, it is the default behaviour of the Android OS despite of additional settings in UI tools? In this particular case should I address the Google support? And is there any way to provide users with the corresponding option (visibility of the PIN digits traces) in Sony's customizable build of the OS?
Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
Paul.
