Silencing notifications temporarily and without silencing the phone from ringing .

If, on occasions but not always, I want to turn off the notification SOUNDS, but NOT stop the xperia xa1 from RINGING, is there any EASY way to do it, please?

First, allow calls in the exception list of the Do Not Disturb mode:

Go to Settings -> Sound -> Do Not Disturb -> Allowed in Priority Only - > Calls -> From everyone.

Then, whenever you want to block all sounds except for calls, activate Do Not Disturb mode by lowering the volume to its lowest or from the Quick Settings menu.
