Phone was not charging after switched off not getting switched on

Hi,

 I am using Xperia XA Dual. When I put the phone for charging, it was not charging. Then I switched off the phone after that it is not getting switched on. 

Can any one help on this?

Yeah sure,

Can you try holding power button + volume up for 10 seconds until you feel 3 quick vibrations. Then power on as normal.
