Can I add notification sound for each contact?

Can I add a notification sounds to each of my contacts individually on my xperia XA1??

Hi @balmoral2005, welcome to the forum!

It is possible to change the ring tone for each contact but I'm afraid this can't be done with notification sounds. I can forward this as user feedback though so thank you for bringing this up.

Thank you for your reply. I hope that sony can make a phone where you can apply a ringtone for each contact that sends a sms.

My last phone I was able to have different txt message tones for all my family and friends so I knew who was texting me .
