Hello, I've a little question on the XA1.
Does it realy have the ability to use the 4G+?
Just to explain : in some areas, my brother who have a Z5 is on 4g+ and we can see it at the top of the screen, and at the same time, I've only 4g on my XA1, and even H+ sometimes, we have the same provider.
Is the 4g symbol both for 4g and 4g+ on the XA1 ?
Thank you for answering.

You can try to ask about that to yours operator, i think they will tell you much more. Also try to instert yours sim card to brother's smartphone and brother's to yours model and check is the same situation, if brother's sim card will receives low signal too, that's mean yours model can't receives 4+, also you can try to check how is in different places with signal in yours smartphone. If brother's sim cards in yours model receives 4+, that's mean something wrong with yours card. When i bought first 4G model, my operator siad that simple sim card which i had must be changed to new, must be newest sim's technologies or something like that, i can't remember all details of my talk from pas with my operator. I advise to talk with yours operator too, coz you using theirs service

Hi @TommyRcz, welcome to the community.
Based on the information I currently have available to me, these are the only devices I can confirm support LTE-Advanced (4G+):
The Xperia XA1 is not included. I apologise for the inconvenience this is causing you.
Ok, but I purchased the XA1 in part because it was supposed to be a 4g+ smartphone, as it is supposed to be able to use the 6th cat LTE which seems to be LTE Advanced...
The Xperia XA1 does support Cat. 6, up to 50 Mbps (upload), up to 300 Mbps (download) according to the WhitePaper, but I have no specific information internally that indicates it supports LTE-Advanced. It may only be available in certain markets and not others.
If it was advertised as 4G+ and you are not getting it, I recommend you talk to your retailer and/or network.

I checked in internet pages of some my country sellers, they all confirmed that XA1 have 4+ connection and CAT 6, but in Sony Mobile page is written note, that "This service is not available in all variants or markets". In white paper sometime Sony leaves mistakes, i know that from my own practic with E4G or C5 Ultra Dual model, i can't remember in which was written this mistake (was written about screen that have TFT, but both these models have IPS)
About users problem, how i know in different models connection can work different with the same operator in the same place. How much it is true, i don't know, but mine some acquaintances siad that hey noticed that too, so as you can see with low 4+ can be at the least 2 reasons: service is not available in costumer (user) market or in variant of model and connection strength in his place can be low in his model
Thank you, but that's still strange, my operator indicates that the XA1 can do it, and about the place I tested, with my brother's Z5, he had full 4g+,
