SOV33: want to extend SMS limit

hi all,

I have X Performance, SOV33 upgraded to Oreo 8.0, I want to extend limit of SMS characters, how i can do this?

SMS limit is controlled by the operator and it's limited to 918 characters. However, if you type more than 160 characters, your SMS will be divided into chunks with 153 characters in each. Using non-Unicode characters (like Arabic, Russian, Chinese, etc) will reduce this limit to 70 characters per SMS.

I can't type after approx 150 characters - using all plain text alpha-numerics only, it is not accepting. Is there any other SMS app advised to use instead of stock?

Try Google's Android Messages app or other 3rd part apps like Textra.

have installed Textra, searched for best sms app and then selected this one.

at the moment i am at work, can't use it, will definitely give you feedback. i am using their provided internet connection, at home i will install the selected Textra SMS and will check.

sent message of lenght approx. 500 characters and Textra sent it without chunk means at once.
