Deleting single call from call log after upsate

I have just completed the latest update, I can now no longer delete single calls from my call history only the whole log... Any hints? Cheers

open the phone app > menu > call history > menu > long press one of the calls that you want to delete

or

open the phone app > tap on the name/photo of the call log > call details > there should be a trashcan on the top right corner

I've tried that, it no longer gives you the option to delete after the latest update...

Are you certain? which android version are you on?

@uliwooly@Chubbs should work with the trashcan, as long as you tap the entry (number or contact) and then call details.

I have fiddled with it, there's no quick short cut anymore you have to access call history then go through convoluted process to delete!

Can you explain please step by step, what have you done to delete one single call? I can't find the solution

Tap on the number you want to delete, then tap on call deatils (an i in  a circle symbol). The trash can should then appear in the top right hand corner-just tap on that and the log wil disappear.
