Xperia T won't charge

Hi,

Here's another topic about an Xperia T that isn't charging. Only this time, I couldn't find a solution to it. It happened to me before and I got it working everytime using the reset button combinations. Now, I can't get the phone to charge at all. What is happening: I tried plugging the charger in while holding reset button combinations (I tried several cominations, such as power button only, power+volume up/down, etc.). Also I tried leaving the charger plugged for a day.

Using the reset, the phone does go into "bootmode", but after that it goes black again. So I see the Sony logo, then the Xperia animation and then the T-Mobile logo in my case. After that the battery is too low to go further to the startup screen. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

PS: The 4.3 update is great. Slightly_smiling_Face

Thanks for your answer. I managed to fix it in another way before I read your comment. I removed the back cover of the phone and disconnected the battery itself and then reconnected it again. After this the battery was able to charge right away. Next time, I will consider your solution first. Thanks again!

I advise others with the same issue to try conventional solutions first. It seems that the back cover is not really meant to be removed.
