Xperia P .75 Update didn't solve any of the previous Bugs

Hi,

Earlier Today I updated my Xperia P to 6.1.1.B.1.75 via Sony Update Service . But to my surprise , None of the Bugs were fixed in this update . Is This happening because i didn't perform a Clean Update(Factory reset +Update) ? or should i use some other means of update .

Got 4.0.4  build 6.1.1.B.1.54 and serious battery drain (have to charge 2-3 times a day).

Update not yet available here in NL Angry_Face

Hope this fixes that issue. Was a nice phone before upgrading from Gingerbread to ICS.

Well , .75 Update(whenever available at your countryland) would carry forward all of your previous bugs . I'd recommend not to waste your 400 mb on this pathetic update even if you are running on an unlimited data plan and wait for the JellyBean Update . I wish Sony Pushes the Jb update in NL without any delay after it's worldwide release .

Just noticed that my phone does not charge !

Have the phone connected to USB port of computer, as I always did for the last 6 months, and the lightning sign appears on the battery. Systeminfo says: battery charging.

BUT: for the last 60 minutes the charge did not move from its inital 80 %

So this is another bug of ICS ??

Should have bought a Galaxy ...

Some correction friends

1) Even my timescape has a bug now.

2) Stock Browser lags a lot , tried opera mobile which used to work flawlessly before now crashes while rendering flash content.(Poor Flash Rendering)

3) Regret wasting my 400mb, 2 hours and some excitement on the stupid .75 update !!

Advice : Guys plz stay on your previous update and dont waste time on the buggy new .75 update.

Can someone tell me what was fixed in the 75 update? Where do we get the release notes for all the updates in general for all Xperia phones?

Seems a bit hit and miss.  I've had the Xperia P for a couple of weeks now and have come accross no issues or bugs whatsoever...in terms of the battery, I ignored the instructions that said you should charge for only 30 mins before first use and charged it overnight, and have no complaints.  Was fully charged this morning, and after 14 hours off charge I still have 84% of battery, with occasional email and facebook checking.  Longest I've had between charge is nearly 3 days with average use.

It would appear these issues only effect some phones.  Did everyone update to ICS using the desktop companion software?  If you did it over the air, that's where it can cause issues supposedly!

Nothing was fixed in the 75 update, on the contrary, it led to crashing of apps. As for the release notes, go to xperiablog. Net
