Xperia P .75 Update didn't solve any of the previous Bugs

Hi,

Earlier Today I updated my Xperia P to 6.1.1.B.1.75 via Sony Update Service . But to my surprise , None of the Bugs were fixed in this update . Is This happening because i didn't perform a Clean Update(Factory reset +Update) ? or should i use some other means of update .

Some correction friends

1) Even my timescape has a bug now.

2) Stock Browser lags a lot , tried opera mobile which used to work flawlessly before now crashes while rendering flash content.(Poor Flash Rendering)

3) Regret wasting my 400mb, 2 hours and some excitement on the stupid .75 update !!

Advice : Guys plz stay on your previous update and dont waste time on the buggy new .75 update.

For me, this update has got my battery back on track. With the last update, with extended battery mode on, I was losing 50% charge within the night (backlight also off), and needed to charge 2 to 3 times a day. With this update, it has been around 16 hours since the last charge and I still have 87% charge. I lost only 3% charge overnight. (Still have extended battery mode on though).

Also, my notification rigtone stopped working during the last update. It is back working with this one now.

I haven't faced the camera issue as yet, though. Thankfully!

As for you, I am not sure because there are other peeps also for whome the bugs are not resolved. I guess the bugs work diffrently for all people.

You had those issues before updating right?

You should try Clean Update of your firmware. I hope yours could be fixed.

A little Bit of Amusement Here a_agarwal

No Offence Dude , But First of all check whether You have the Xperia P or Some Other Super High End Device , as we all have the same xperia P and all of us are stuck with heaps of Bugs.

Secondly after assuring that you only have the Xperia P ,( not some other God gifted Phone Which cruize flawlessley) , Could You tell me whether You have used SUS OR PCC OR Some Other means for the Update Process .

I always use SUS instead of PC Companion. I don't know man, some user don't experience this issues. I don't know why.

xVk... lol.

Seriously, the main problem is that the updates work differently for all, dunno why. Only few people faced the battery issues after the previous update.

I still have the timescape issue, but that is not a major thing. I use my facebook through the main app.

I updated with PCC only (a straight update, no factory reset... only a backup of my stuff), though I had to download the update engine also, as the update was not downloading without it.

P.S. I am a dudette... Slightly_smiling_Face

Hey dude xvk
I couldn't find the update online nor through the pc companion. I used the sus. I didnot do a clean update(factoryreset +update) and I hope this is what I can conclude.
1)The camera 8mp bug still persists.
2) No change to the UI
3) I never had the battery issue with the last update nor the current one.
4)Timescape is working fine.
5)after the. 75 update gmail and playstore issue. I had to turn on autosync for gmail to start working initially(manual sync didnot work) gmail is now working fine(fingers crossed). Still having connection issues with playstore even while all other apps working perfectly (whatsapp, maps, browser).
6) Random app crashes which I never faced before

So I doubt what this update has and atleast the gmail and playstore issue wasn't there. So I would advice u guys to stay on the previous update and be patient enough for the jb update.
