Xperia neo v shutdown suddenly(2011 model , 6 months old)

Hi,My neo v is 6 months old , until now every thing was fine but suddenly it shutdown with out mt knowledge. when i tried to turn it on , nothing was happening. Later i removed battery and again inserted , it started that time . It happended twice in 2 days. May i know what is the problem ?

hi , i think you need to perform a software repair

Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)  

PC Companion http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

I tried to update it , but it showed my mobile has latest software already . No use

no matter it shows that,, select INSTALL ANYWAY
you need to reinstall your software.

Hi,

I'd suggest trying the repair option in PC Companion which Nabeelraza mentioned above. This will reinstall the software in your handset even if you're running the latest version.

Please also try running the handset with no third party apps installed after performing the repair and let us know how you get on

I did installed my phone is very smooth now . will see , if problem won't occur again means i will be happy
