Wi-Fi connection password

Hello. I have a new router, and all has been fine, but now I need to change the password so that my hifi, which will not recognise the router password, can be used. I think I now know how to change my computers, but not our phones. When I search my Experia J menu, and tap the router in use icon, at the bottom of the options list are two boxes, "Cancel" and "Forget". I'm reluctant to go any further in case I can't reset the menu. If I select "Forget", will that allow me to either reconnect to the router with a new password, or change the password on my phone, please?

My hifi won't recognise the two hyphens in the password, and it's really annoying, hence the need for a password change.

Hope someone can help.

If you hit forget, you just lose the old settings, you can reconnect with new password.

Cheers, Alexdon. I wondered if that would be the case, but was reluctant to commit and **bleep** things permanently. Will give it a go using the current password.

Woo hoo, alexdon, it works! I "Forgot"  the link, then reconnected using the current password.  Many, many thanks.
