Unroot without deleting user data?

You can unroot your phone anytime you want by flashing stock ROM but that would wipe user data for sure. So is there any way to unroot my phone (back to stock android 2.3) without deleting my data? I'm using rooted xperia arc S which runs on 2.3 gingerbread.

yes, it all depends on how you rooted your phone, if you root your phone w/ superoneclick just run it again to unroot.

bahamutzero00 Use advanced editor

Rooting the phone can damage your unit and voids the warranty, for that reason we dont provide info on performing that action, however there is information on this forum from other users on how to perform that action.

...But I must Stress that we dont recomend this as it can render the device useless.

Francis.

I used DooMLord to root my phone

The reason i rooted my phone is to use Link2SD ( as it requires root) to move "non movable apps by default" to SD.

Before i rooted my phone, i used this following method:

http://androidadvices.com/install-apps-sd-card-android-rooting/     <-- no root required

Now i use both methods on a rooted phone,  what do you think? Did i mess up with my phone?
