Just switched on the phone and realized that some unknown icons were appearing in the menu. When selected, they say 'Application not Found.'
Though some of the labels are Apps I installed, and their normal icons come back after sometime, but some unknown icons saying android, pro, alpha etc. remain.
See the Screenshot for more info.
I have done virus scan by BitDefender, Eset, Avast [Mobile Version], No Virus Found.

Just dont' be surprised if factory don't work. If that happens, u just need to do a repair your stock rom.
Backup everything and directly reinstall your phone's firmware

Which ROM do you use, my friend?
I thought that it worked but it didn't.
Repaired the Phone -> Factory Resetted it. -> Installed Apps -> Problem Returns.
I have some 35 apps on External memory, 60 apps on Phone. The apps on external memory show this problem. The icons revert back to normal when I open some app which seem to make list of program... for eg. When I open App2SD [when the problem appears], the icons revert back to normal after I close the app [Though, When I open that app, it doesn't show all the application installed; but when I open it again when the issue with icons is resolved, all applications which are installed are shown in the app].
Anyone can Replicate my results? Firmware: 6.0.A.3.62
just wondering, why do you have App2SD with your Xperia S?
To move apps to External Memory? *facepalms*
yes I know the purpose of the app but the Xperia S has enough internal memory for all your apps (almost 1.5GB). This problem might be a compatibility issue.
Got Games and all...
[GTA III -> About 500 M.B ; Asphalt 6 -> 1 G.B]
And that doesn't even matter, I bought the phone, And it should work the way it should.. I am not compromising after wasting 500$.
massive games like that don't take all your internal space (for apps) they go on the SD card or in this case on the non removable internal storage. The phone works as it should the app doesn't, the issue here is the app not the phone.
'Xperia Home' is the Problem -> It is included with the phone. -> Phone doesn't work without it -> Phone has the problem.
Anyways I just want a solution, as many other people don't seem to have the problem.
I tried repairing the whole firmware but that doesn't work.
So is there any amount of limit on no. of apps which can be installed in External Memory or Is this some problem with a specific app?
