Unknown Icon Appearing in the Menu

Just switched on the phone and realized that some unknown icons were appearing in the menu. When selected, they say 'Application not Found.'

Though some of the labels are Apps I installed, and their normal icons come back after sometime, but some unknown icons saying android, pro, alpha etc. remain.

See the Screenshot for more info.

I have done virus scan by BitDefender, Eset, Avast [Mobile Version], No Virus Found.

You can't root the stock firmware at all !!!!!!!!

And for installing a custom rom its quite obvious you need to unlock the bootloader

you can still root your phone as long as it's bootloader unlocked, by using a prerooted system.img from Binary or Livesquare at XDA.

Did i say anything else earlier ? in my first post ? :smileymischief:

what i said is quite clear that we need to flash a pre rooted rom and to install a custom rom we need to unlock our bootloader

Do you understand the word "pre rooted" ? it means the rom that has already been rooted..

By flashing that rom we get a rom that already has root access !!! :smileymischief:

ok. my mistake. Its a modified stock rom that has been rooted. Dizzy_Face

ps: we're getting off topic.

Thank God

I find no harm in getting off topic if it helps other users Slightly_smiling_Face

There may be many more reading this thread and a thread should contain a true answer Winking_Face

Atleast we both cleared the doubt Slightly_smiling_Face

Now waiting for as005 Slightly_smiling_Face

Did the second method. Works when phone is switched on. Restart and Bam, They appear again.

Trying Factory Reset + Erasing External Memory.

LOL LOL,

I think i am correct.

eMMC memory = 32 GB of which about 25.8 GB(/mnt/sdcard) is available for user.

The othe 6.4 odd GB is used for android system(/system 1GB on my custom ROM), user apps (/data 2GB) and cache(/cache) 246MB.

RAM memory = 1 GB

Wrong Man, See your Application Settings, Installed Apps, Down in the Bottom, You will see the internal memory [used & free].

as005 Leave him

i already tried to make him understand but seems Smiling_Face_with_open_mouth_&_closed_Eyes

Nope, Clearing the External Memory didn't work.

Cleared it -> Moved the apps again -> Same Problem.

I think now factory reset is the last resort. Slightly_frowning_Face
