Uninstalled Apps..are they really gone?

I have a question with regards to uninstalled apps. After uninstalling them, are they really gone from the internal memory? ...it just so happened that after i updated my phone to 4.0.2.A.0.62, the moxier pro, UEFA.com and xperia hot shots app were all in panel again. Though i already uninstalled them before the update. The mcafee security though was really gone, which i uninstalled before the update.

If you uninstall a application it will be deleted from the internal memory.

The reason why you got these applications back is because they are included in the software update. But you can just uninstall them again if you like.
