I just found out that from this website http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f708/sales-item-si-list-xperia-arc-s-lt18-1510959/ that my XPERIA Arc S is listed under
Generic Trade Singapore | Customized SG | 1254-0655 | Midnight Blue
Since it's a Generic device, Why is the 4.1.B.0.587 update still not hitting my phone?! My phone is still stuck on the 4.1.A.0.562 firmware! :smileyconfused::smileyangry:

Unfortunately there is not a lot I can personally advise on this one. Uliwooly is correct on a few points, even generic phones will often be made for one network or another and as such are subject to network approval of firmware as well as regional approval. In this circumstance you are best to contact your local Sony Xperia Support team as they should have more accurate information specific to you region on this matter:

I sent an email regarding this issues to them months ago but they did'nt bothered to reply.

Here's part of the email they reply to me

We value the importance of your concern and we are here to assist you.
With regards to your query, we would like to inform you that we have escalated your case to the relevant department and we will keep you inform on the next course of action on the android version 4.0.4 update.
We will certainly revert to you in the soonest possible time."
