I just found out that from this website http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f708/sales-item-si-list-xperia-arc-s-lt18-1510959/ that my XPERIA Arc S is listed under
Generic Trade Singapore | Customized SG | 1254-0655 | Midnight Blue
Since it's a Generic device, Why is the 4.1.B.0.587 update still not hitting my phone?! My phone is still stuck on the 4.1.A.0.562 firmware! :smileyconfused::smileyangry:

I've just recieve the 4.1.B.0.587 update OTA a moment ago, Seems like Sony Mobile did look into my requests! Hope the update will improve the sluggish performance on my phone now. A happy Sony Mobile customer again! 
is or was your phone "locked" to a network at all?
I have said countless of time, My phone is NOT locked to a network or something. I bought it without a contract at a local Sony Concept store (6range) http://www.6range.com.sg/ in singapore!!!
in some countries even unlocked phones are locked to a network but not locked to a contract, that seems odd but that's how it is in ertain markets.

I just realized not a single Xperia Arc S have been updated to 4.0.4 firmware in the singapore region according to the SI number list. What is Sony Mobile Singapore doing?!
Any ideas?

I see that you phone was updated to 4.0.3 back in April but nothing regarding 4.0.4 nor the latest update, I would contact a Sony Moderator but as you might no, not only networks approve updates but region/countries. contact Markus, Jeff, Johan
