Sony Xperia SL Heating

Hi,

2 week back i bought the New Xperia SL. the look and feel of the phone is good.

but the phone is getting over heat when playing games and watching Vedios.

now i really feel disappoint by choosing the Sony brand.

Is there anyway the heating issue gets fixed in my phone or can i get any exchange for this?

please use the search bar before creating a new thread (top right corner)

there's nothing wrong with your phone, any phone, computer, tablets etc will heat up while you use it. the more games, demanding apps, wifi etc you use the faster it will get hot. again, it's NORMAL

Thanks for your kind suggesion for using the search bar. Before creating the thread, i have searched but did not got any concrete solution for my phone issue.

Nextly, u said it is normal..but i say it is abnormal...getting overheat in just 2 - 5 mins of usage is really not acceptable as its a new phone, not only the screen but also the body is heating up.

I also have other brand phone, even playing the same games for long duration the other brand phone is still normal it does not heat up much when compared to Sony Xperia SL.

Maybe it is normal to you Uliwooly....... its not at all acceptable with me....instead of saying xperia SL a Phone..i can say....SL as a heating machine ....

If you have any solution for my issue please post, otherwise please do not post any non-sense suggesions, let the Sony Xperia support team answer with some solution.

Uliwooly is very much correct. Simply because you have not felt the heat with the previous handsets does not mean they are not generating heat. Different designs and materials used in the manufacture of the handset will alter the amount of heat felt along with the power of the processor concerned.
