How to resolve infinite restart loop in Sony Ericsson Live with walkman (WT19i)

I was trying to install a regional font in my android. After installing the application asked me to reboot. And after that it is stuck in an infinite reboot loop. I am unable to get the homescreen. Kindly help in this regard.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Remove the battery for a few minutes and then put it back in > Charge your battery for 1 hr > Repair/re-install the phone with Sony Update Service.

Sony Update Service

Cheers.

Thanks Alexrx for the reply.

Removed the battery. Then put it back. Charged for more than an hour. Installed the software. I'm  finding trouble in connecting to Sony Update Service.

In the 'Select Product', there wasn't Sony Live With Walkman (WT19i), So had to choose nearest option (WT18i).

After connecting microusb and keep pressing HOME button, still it is not getting detected in the wizard. Could you please help?

Edit: Windows 8 is the operating system.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

When you are going to repair a Live with WALKMAN (WT19i) you should hold down the volume down(-) button and not the home button. You should be able to find Live with WALKMAN in the drop down list after you accept the license agreement and you see the instruction for this model.

I have installed the latest version. But not finding WT19i in the product list.

It looks like you are using Windows 8.1 and in the moment of time all units are not compatible with this system. I suggest that you try with another computer with an older OS (Win 7 or earlier).

You can also try this:run SUS in compatibility mode with windows 7.

I followed the above steps. Just for the benift of people having similar issues, please keep a habit of taking regular backup of all your data. By the above steps, ICS was re-installed. Yes it worked!! Thanks a lot. Slightly_smiling_Face
