Please look, I'm facing another great problem with my new xperia mini pro. it's automatically lighting up and it's frequent. even when the screen is locked. note that my phone is updated to latest firmware 62 as i've ben suggested to do so. now what should i do in this respect? there is no non market apps in my phone but a few apps from market.

if you bought this here in the US then your warranty wouldn't cover it, try the above suggestion, and then take out the SIM and SD card and see if the problem persists, don't install any app at all.

if after that you repair the phone you still have the same issue, the problem is most likely hardware related, perhaps the sliding keyboard its acting up

I've updated my phone from 4.0.2.a.0.58 to 4.0.2.a.0.62 via my pc companion. is it the same update as you're guiding me? the touch problem and this one occur frequently even after the update. so what will u suggest then? to go to service centre? there is no authorized sony ericsson service in Bangladesh(there was in the past but went away). i've bought the set from USA(sony showroom).
Sometimes I experiance the same behaviour on my xperia mini running ICS. then I just connect it to the charger or I click screen off and ussually I win
I think its software related and maybe some applicatiuon could cause that.
