Rooting is possible or Not??

I wish to root my SE Live With Walkman. As I am novice, so I dont risk to unlock bootloader or flashing a new custom ROM. I root my phone as I  want to get rid of Bloatwares. Please tell me whether it is possible to ROOT my SE LWW?

How to check that my phone is successfully rooted?

after super one click make sure you restart your phone, then download titanium backup from the market, that's the perfect way to test if your phone its rooted or not

There is an option which says Allow Non Market Apps(Requires Root). What is this:smileyconfused:? If I already rooted my phone, do I need to click that button again to allow non market apps?

allowed non market apps its if you want to sideload apps. install barnacle that app requires root

Will you be able to root official ics release though?

at the moment I haven't seen any options w/o unlocking your bootloader but just be patient and some moderators will release something

Does flashing the firmware remove any settings, apps etc? Is it like doing an ordinary update but manually?
