RAM problem of XPERIA S...?

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post.

As I heard and according to SONY, XPERIA S equipped with a 1GB RAM. But when I go to processes of my handset, this is what I can see there.

It indicates that the available ram is 452MB and the used amount is 161MB. So all together 452+161=613MB.

This is looking abnormal. Is it a fault of my handset? Why is missing 411MBs? I'm seriously confused about this. Please need your help.

Also another question, what is the phone memory amount? Is it 2GB?

I bought this phone from Malaysia.

AAAB CB5 12W10

SI 1257 - 1836

Thanks to Sony and God because luckily I don't have the yellow tint problem even at the 45°C.

I need your expert ideas in this case.

its correct, the amount of ram shown. other part of the total ram thats not shown is because its being used by the system it self.

if its 512 total ram like the ARC S then you would have like ~183 ram FREE.

Xperia S does comes with 1GB RAM

As Edison said, the hidden ram is used by Android OS
