Problems with video capture after ICS upgrade.

I am having problems with my SE Xperia Pro after upgrading to ICS. When doing a video capture using the camera function, I cannot end/stop the video recording. I have to actually kill the application to sort the problem out. Is anyone else having this problem or is there a fix available?

I would recomend

uninstall taskillers, antivirus and battery juice defendres (this apps cause more harm than help) -> restart your phone

settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> camera -> clear data

if that doesn't fix the issue then repair your phone with

Update Service (SUS)

Apologies, my phone updated seem to be to Android version 2.3.4. Sorry for that. But I am still experiencing problems.

I have tried and done all this. Removed all apps that I actually installed myself and still the problem exists.

I have the latest update for my phone I think. Android version 2.3.4 Build No. 4.0.2.A.0.62

try again with SUS and do NOT install any app at all, try to record a video (but after you repair your phone with SUS)

are you using a protective case?

what are your camera settings ?

I tried your settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> camera -> clear data and that has resolved the problem. Many thanks
