Pre-installed Apps any use?

hello friends,

this is my 1st smartphone & i dont know how to utilise this phone yet.

i have these pre-installed apps :

1. Neo reader

2. OfficeSuite

3. PlayNow

4. Power  saver

5. Wisepilot

6. timesPoynt

7. astro

8. appXtra

9. Application Installer

10. liveware manager

can everybody please make some comments about each app? if there are better alternatives then please do suggest. can i delete these apps coz they use lots of ram?

i have found that only ~120 MB RAM is free for me. whenever i kill some apps they again appear.

any solutions?

i want to sync my yahoo account just like gmail does. is this possible?

i hope experienced users like uliwooly answer this thread.:smileyconfused:

thank you.

This is what i personally feel

1) Neo reader  <> Google goggles

2) Office Suite is good ( used to documents of any type )

3 ) You can't remove this app until you root

4) preinstalled app that cannot be removed i guess

5) wisepilot <> nothing is more good than Google Maps

6) No idea what it does

7)Best file manager in android market

8)No need, you could uninstall it, You can install app via astro

9) Preinstalled app within the system , cannot be removed

Regarding yahoo, i have never tried that, try to download the app and see what features it offfer

1) Neo reader you don't quite need it unless you read QR and Barcodes daily

2) google docs it's a lot better

3) I'm able to uninstall PlayNow w/o rooting, I think it's region based (to be able to uninstall it)

4) not quite needed

5) wisepilot uninstall it use google maps and navigation

6. timesPoynt              regional app

7. astro                        I like this to get access to photo files but OI file manager it's good too

8. appXtra                    I don't have it

9. Application Installer  I don't quite need it but it's there

10. liveware manager   I don't use it, you can force stop it

But you have to connect it when you are asked to, not before that

Most important : turn off firewall and antivirus

then :

First run the xperia update application on your phone, connect your phone only when you are asked to Slightly_smiling_Face
