How I can update my Xperia S?

When I start to update my Xperia S (with Sony PC companion) an error message appear. I don´t know why. Maybe the last update (android 4.0 and other more things) is available for only a few countries (I live in Chile). If anyone can help me, I will appreciate that.

The problem is not with PC companion. When Sony PC Companion begins to prepare your phone for update, when it have like 50% accomplished, an error message appears saying the updating process was not succesfull.

have you tried my suggestion (SUS)?

also turn off your firewall and antivirus

Try Uli's advice about SUS and turning off firewalls and anti virus and let us know.
