Please help! How do I move my apps from my xperia x10 mini to my new xperia mini st15i???

Just bought a new Xperia Mini ST15i and would really like to move all my downloaded apps (paid and free ones) from my old Xperia X10 mini (with all their data) rather than have to download them all over again (and change all the customised settings and saved data etc) but I can't work out how to do this Slightly_frowning_Face please can anyone help? there are so many great answers on here but can't find anything relating specifically to this... thanks in advance!

yes same SD card. selected "back up and restore" on the Xperia mini X10 and backed it all up to the SD card but then the new Xperia mini ST15i doesn't have "back up and restore" functionality so I can't select restore Slightly_frowning_Face how rubbish is that!!!

Such a shame as it backed up all the calls lists, message lists, apps, everything...

I've followed the advice in the post below and used android marketplace >my library to send all the apps I want to the new ST15i (but it hasn't downloaded anything yet so not sure if this works yet).

Very frustrating - why don't SE just leave the backup and restore function on the newer/upgrade versions of their phones??? I'm sure they do it to P!ss us off!

I'm hoping once i've reinstalled Chomp SMS on the new phone it will let me restore the backed up message log and messages...

thanks for helping - if you have any other suggestions to add please do Slightly_smiling_Face

Any idea how long it takes to download them to the new phone once you've selected and ok'd the ones you want??? do I need to switch on and off or open marketplace or anything to get it to start downloading them?? thanks again Slightly_smiling_Face

that's why if you install the above you will be able to recover everything as long as you use the same SD card

I suggest you use wifi connection its hard to say how long, since it's directly proportional to your 3G/H or wifi connection speed
