Phone update failed, now software wont boot

I updated my phone using the PC companion and this crashed half way through. I now have a phone that will turn on but on the loading screen is stuck wiyth a frozen yellow screen at the bottom half of the screen.

In the help section, it states:

Repair your phone software

You can perform a manual phone update to repair the software even if the phone doesn't start or can't be found by PC Companion.

To repair your phone software:

1. Connect the USB cable to your computer and then to the phone.
2. On the computer: Start PC Companion.
3. On the computer: In the Support Zone descriptor click Start > Repair and follow the instructions on the screen.

However, there is no repair section in my support zone

Please help!

repair ur phone using sony ericsson update service
http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1323075336/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

download this sony official software and install it on ur pc and follow the onscreen steps
