After JB update can't read smart tags

Here's my logcat

ok here is the step by step process i've done following instructions given by scarface.

1. clear data. i did not clear cache because there was none

2. uninstall updates.

3. disable smart connect. scarface said for 5 minutes, i think mine was more. i didn't notice the time because of work. lol

4. enable smart connect

5.i tried NFC with smart tags, did not detect. forgot to reset.

6. reset phone.

7. try again and this time it should detect the tags.

right after, it is then that i updated the app. cheers!

After updating.

You need to do hard reset (hold down power button and both volume keys for several seconds and the phone will reset).

Same issue, removing smart tags and followign steps in fix above worked for me.

One note, when uninstalling updates to smart connect it asked to return to standard app so wasn't under downloaded apps anymore (under All) when finding to disable again.

Tried the procedure Scarface9 mentioned, but still it does not work :S.

Cleared data, unistalled updates (under All apps), cleared data again, disabled SmartConnect, waited for 5min, enabled SmartConnect, updated and restartarted with vol up/down + power. No joy ..

But .. it does work when I remove my SIM card from the phone.

Then it can detect SmartTags and any other writeable tags I have.

I also tried Service Test -> NFC ... when SIM card is in the phone it does not detect anything. When I remove the SIM, it works.

BTW: I tried FactoryReset and Repair via Update Service.

PS: maybe it doesn't work, because I made micro SIM by myself (by cutting original SIM card) .. does microSIM have any other functionalities (somekind of ID that NCF-Wallet needs)?
