Issue with Lock Screen - After ICS Update

Hello,

Recently I upgraded my Xperia S to ICS 4.0.4. After the update, following functionality not available. I read a review of Xperia S ICS updates in a blogging site and seems like these functionality are being discussed and hence I am assuming those to be available. Could you please confirm whether these are missing functionality or a bug which would be fixed in some future update?

1. Lock Screen Don't show notification like it was showing in "Gingerbread" . Settings > Display > Lock Screen Settings is setup for showing all notification but none is displayed.

2. Lock Screen > Wallpaper ..seems like no effect. The lock screen is remain as it is, even after making changes to Wall Paper.

3. SMS/Missed Call - LED Indicator seems like not working.

do you have a pattern lock or face recognition? are you using notification apps, takillers, antivirus?

I think you should factory reset your phone and then install the ics update again ! When you connect your phone to your sony pc companion You should select repair software and then it will be repaired. I hope it works. Dont forget to mark as helpful answers and correct answers

Yes, I have enabled "Pattern Lock" and I don't have any "taskkillers or antivirus". I am not sure about "whether I have any Notification App or not".

there you go, remove the pattern lock and you will get the notifications

Yes it worked. I removed the "Pattern Lock" and set it to "Slide Lock" and the alert started appearing along with "Notification Led". 

This implies - either enjoy  "Pattern Lock" or "Notification".
