ICS Phonebook in Xperia Ray

Is it just me or it is much harder and confusing to manage contacts with current phonebook  4.0 android? The Infinite view looks kinda boring and im having problem getting my contact's status update to show up in it. Does anyone have the same problem/ opinion and idea to solve this??

Didnt go well Still my facebook contacts not showing contact pictures.:smileyplain:

But the google contacts did show their contact pictures.

My Auto sync was on right from the beginning itself, yet the show status update option is also disabled.

Thats odd I just now did the whole process and was successfull

Did you select sync with existing contacts when logging into fb ?

use facebook for 1 minute atlest

if not successfull again clear data and start everything from beginning SEE fist post here

and for status updates., go to homescreen and add facebook widget

then go to contacts status udates and select it

I selected Sync All.. Do i have to select Sync with existing contacts?

There is no settings left outside this thread,,,, if it doesn works then reinstall your phone's software using pc companion

Nothing worked out.. Even tried reinstalling the phone software. As it asked minimum 50% battery i recharged my mobile for an hour and tried installing the OS. OS Update took nearly 30 minutes. All my applications gone(I knew it will be gone when i repaired). 

I tried the same steps you mentioned above, still i didnt get the contacts work as expected.

All my time wasted, also time wasted to installed my previously installed applications again :smileysad::smileycry::smileyplain::smileyangry:

But are you able to see fb contacts ??

Yes, I'm able to see the fb contacts. Without contact pictures, feels like i am using my old K790 when using contacts :smileysad:.

im having same problems, been trying to sort it all day with no luck, iv try every thing i can think of and still nothing, iv managed to get one or 2 pics showing but the rest not, i think theres a bug some where

not sure tbh, was just trying everything,

now all i have under sync setting for facebook inside xperia is Sync Albums in Gallery, lol, this new update was a wast of time, wish i never updated now
