How to take a Screenshot?

Hello Xperians,

Maybe a silly/simple question, with GB there was an option to take a screenshot by pressing the power button. But after upgrading to ICS, i don't find that option on a long press of Power button. When i search in blogs adviced to press 'Power button + Volume down', but its not capturing.

Could someone lemme know how to take a screenshot pls?

That is the proper procedure for the S

Press Power+ volume down key until the phone takes the screenshot.

(It takes  3 to 4 seconds of holding time to actually take the image)
