Yeah I know that it's for the ICS update and I'm still waiting my ICS update... I've called my GSM operator and they told me they haven't received any updates from Sony about ICS...

so your locked on a network, i assume?

well this is most unfortunate, the only way to get ics right now is to flash it on your phone.

Yes I'm locked to a network... I was hoping that I will get it soon because I don't really want to root my phone. I guess sooner or later I will get ICS so I think I'm gonna wait untill then.

you don't have to root your phone to flash your phone, keep in mind that some networks are NOT going to release the update
