The algorithm for the camera flash is a bit faulty. Try to take the pic from some more distance or switch off flash when possible. About the pixellated pics without flsh its due to the overcompression of cam pics by Sony. Also free RAM isnt an issue but having more RAM always helps. So try to be choosy and use programs you need.
The pic with flsh is too much bright now that I notice again, check the plastic film on the camera and try to take a picture from some distance with flash and see if there is burn like this.
@uliwooly: . yes there is plastic cover over there, i thought that time that its lens protector.
@arnab : Ram problem solved..:smileywink:just one problem this camera issue..
the first picture was a picture of a fish/fish bowl, well that will happen with most digital cameras/phones a big part of the flash/light will bounce and burn the picture, I thought it was the same picture just w/ and w/o flash.

First picture was roof side of room..not fish bowl.. :smileymischief:.. BTW now tell me xperia mini pro and xperia U has same cam or not? both are 5mp
it might be the same sensor. take a picture with and without flash of the same object/person/scene

First of all need to remove plastic cover from lens.. but xperia mini pro its really clear also mention HD in phone back cover near camera lens but xperia U nothing like that mention HD.
In camera setting a setting is there as 3 MP by default, change it to 5 MP.
