Freezing problems !!

some help plz here My Arc s was 4.0.3 when i bought it and i realized that some times when i open anything like( setting) my phone freezing and the phone that i have wait or close the program and if i tab on wait the phone return the massage so i chosse to close it in the end this problem on last 4.0.3 today i downloaded the 4.0.4 but the problem the same it freez when i open any program or press on the turn on/off button but like i said sometimes not always  . what should i do format... rollback.... back to any update what ????plz help :smileysad::smileysad:

Before downgrading first give the following steps a try

Format your SD card first and then reinstall ICS on your phone

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe
