This is specific to the actual Facebook application version which is not dictated by Sony. You would be best to keep any eye on the Play Store for updates to this application as they tend to change the layout frequently.

Yup, I noticed that as well. Not that I mind. But apparently, I seem to be not receiving notifications as well. I checked all settings and it looks in order but notifications sometimes work, and then sometimes they don't work.
which FB version do you have?

Version 1.9.6. After flashing ICS, I have upgraded the app once. No available update yet on Google Play.
That's the latest update, I don't see that much of the difference can you take some screenshots and point out the difference?

Timeline seems to be missing now from the FB app. It used to show in Timeline before, including the cover photo, now it doesn't:
But that's fine with me. I was just wondering about the notifications as I am intermittently getting notifications in the app.
umm that's odd I don't recall seeing my coverphoto on my fb oh well, I've had 2 updates in the past few days so I don't know we'll have to wait for fb to fix it

sir youre from Philippines too!, i would just ask if how did you update youre Xperia S on ICS, did you use the PC Companioin or SUS, or you just manualy flash it with the flash tool?...im from the philippines too yet my SI number stil not on the list,,,,
Hey, Karlo! What's happenin', man! Yup I am from the Philippines.
I flashed mine. Call it excitement (impatience). I used the flash tool and followed the steps in XperiaBlog.net. It's cool. However, update at your own risk. Take note that if in the process you happen to damage your phone, then you might lose your warranty. That said, the procedure was failry easy and understandable for as long as you follow the instructions carefully.
I still recommend waiting for the official update, but if you're as excited as I am, let me know how it goes. If you need help, just let me know.
Cheers, mate! Enjoy your Xperia S!
