Does repair centre solve top part of screen problem ?!!!

Hi guys ...

Has anybody ever gotten his/her Xperia SP to repair centre so as to solve top part of screen problem?If yes , Is the problem solved or not ?!

I myself went to repair centre , they said the screen might be damaged ! And as you know it is not included in guarantee ! It costs around 140 $ to change the screen if I want to get my SP to repair centre!!!

The thing that I'm sure about is that there is no screen failure ...

This just happened to me.the phone was fine I put it down for half an hour then the top 10mm of screen stopped working.can't pull down the bar at the top.if I turn it side ways first set of keys on the keyboard don't work but the rest of the screen is fine.weird and anmoying

Exchange of the screen is only thing that solve problem. I know i had that same problem.

Did you pay money for screen replacement ?

I'm eager to do such a thing , but firstly I should prove that the screen is not broken or ... . Because the first thing that repair centre told me was "The screen is broken! Now give us 140$ to change it!"

If I had 140$ more that the SP itself , I would have iphone now!!!:smileyyahoo:

Yes I have to pay because my phone is UAE-version and not have warranty on Europe. (Thanks to Digivire )

otherwise it would been include to warranty.
