Hello all,
My recent Xperia Pro appears to have a scratch in it's display glass, deep enough to be able to 'break' the light. I now need to replace the glass of my touchscreen. I am insured, but I can't lose my phone for 3 weeks just for a simple display glass replacement that can be done in a few hours. The trouble for me is, where do I buy a display glass for an Xperia Pro? Just the display, not the whole package (inc. touchscreen or such) 'cause my touchscreen itself still works fine it's just the display glass that contains a scratch.
Any help will be appreciated
Kind regards

ok that could be the scratch resistant film or the digitizer, if you can take a picture where you have a website opten, just to see if the screen is fine and take it on an angle

'scratch resistant film'.....? Sony has something scratch resistant?
I will try to get the photo as soon as possible, and already thank you very much for your support so far
they call it that

But is the 'scratch resistance film' (ironic name when it now appears to have a scratch) removeable?
it is removable, it does protect from certain scratches, but if you look into the Mohs scale of mineral hardness I would say it only protect it from 1 (1 of 10)

How do I remove it? Maybe then my problem is solved? Again, thank you for your quick response
You sure mine has one too? I will do this, and then directly put on a decent screenprotector. I am so thankfull already
look closely on one of the edges and see if you can notice the screen protector.

I can, as far as I assume it's a 'second layer'. Is there a way that I can be fully sure before using any tool to remove it? If I heat the phone with a hairdryer the film should just come off, shouldn't it?
