camera:ghost megapixel

Can someone explain me why my Xperia V is taking photos only in "8 megapixel mode" and where are gone the missing megapixel??:smileycry:

You must be in superior auto mode.

Thank you for the answer but I can't understand what you're meaning with "superior auto mode"!I've search in the camera setting but I didn't found it!!
What I sould do??

Oh, I'm so stupid, sorry, i found it now!!You were talking about photo's setting and I was looking at the camera setting!
