Battery problem xperia arc

After i've done a software restore with pc companion the batery don't charge with usb cable or with the battery charger... I don't know what to do... Just i Unplug the cable the phon shut down.....

Make sure you backup everything

Settings -> privacy -> Back up my data and Automatic restore should be selected

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

Contacts

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

Apps

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone

SMS/MMS

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

download the app, transfer it to your SD card

Download Apk Manager

open "Apk Manager" and voila select the apps that you wan't to install

another alternative to install the Backup & Restore app

download the apk on your computer, send it to yourself through email, make sure you send it to your Gmail

now on your phone

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

wait for the email, once  you get the email, open it, and instead of downloading the attachment it will allow you to install it, voila, done

I've done the restore.. but the battery doesn't charge... It's possible to use anothe way? like flash a firmware?

Also with flashtool nothing good.. the phone work properly but i can't charge the battery....

can you borrow the battery from someone or from a store where they sell the Arc, that way you'll know if the problem is the battery or something else

I've buy another battery on ebay because in Italy and especially near my city is not easy to have sony ericcson parts.. I don't know why... I'm waiting for the battery in 2 days... I hope It will work... I've send an email also to the assistance but they haven't answered....
