Hello,

It`s the third time it happens, my apps from suddenly disappear.

For example, I have some folders my first screen and the apps inside it disappear, i have to put into every time.

Also the menu pages(with all the apps) gets reorganized, totally different from what was before.

Im have Android 2.3.4 on my phone.

Hi ! Maybe you have some problem on SD card, if thoose applications are located on SD card.

As for the version 2.34 on xperia mini, I suggest you to upgrade it soon as possible to ICS, otherwise I am pretty sure that you will experiance the problems with captive buttons acting itself when the temperature of the phone rise to something about 40 degree celzius. Its a common problem and very annoying as the phone became useless.

You can also try to repair your phone via PC companion. If there is a new version popup in pc companion I sugegst you to use SUS (sony update service ) application and upgarde your phone with it. Select the option factory reset + update. It will vipe all data on the phone, but not on sd..... your phone will work much better. My reccomendation is not to use pc companion for upgrading to ICS.

How to upgrade ICS?

Install Sony pc companion, connect your phone and check if any update appear. Updating to ICS is only possible through pc companion or SUS application. Previous updates was possible "over the air" directly from the phone itself.

If the update is available when connecting through pc companion, then I suggest to you to download SUS here : http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/ , install it and follow the insttructions for updating. Select the option that i mentioned in the prev. post.

If the update is not available, the manual update is still possible by flashing (may avoid your warranty).

Will my phone lose any of my personal data?

Afcetory reset will erase all data on the phone except on SD card, so you will have to do a backup of your contacts on sd card or sync with google. All applications must be installed again. You can also make a backup of your applications (installations) using for example ES file explorer (free) or some other application.
