Activity Home screen is not responding

Hello

My phone displays the following error:

Activity Home screen (in application Home screen) is not responding

I cant open the menu or do anything.  Any ideas on how to fix?  Thanks.

Hello, i recently bought an xperia arc s, it is a week old and already i receive the error message: sonyericsson home is not responding, it happens often and is verry annoying. I tried using the update service but the phone came with the latest updates , so none are available. Can anyone help ?

just click on install anyway

i mean re-update your phone , it will be good as new..

Agreed, I would install the current software on the device as well it is very likely to resolve the problem.
