does it happen over and over again? if it does it mean its on boot loop.
I have the same with a M4 Aqua Dual. On facebook I call it Sony's Blue Screen of Coma, because sometimes after it just shut down, sometimes it reboot. Uncertain outcome of Coma...
I started having this problem a week or so ago. I've done four software repairs and one restore factory settings, but it still happens. When the phone is active and I've re-added apps, etc, any apps or features I try to use are very slow and often just freeze for prolonged periods of time. If I have to shut it down/restart, I will get the blue screen/boot loop for a very long time before it works again.
Does this need a repair?
Dear all,
I have an Xperia M4 Aqua Dual.
After only 10 months of happy moments , I suddenly experienced
- a big crash
- apearance of the SONY's "blue screen of death" (just a blue screen, no text) followed by a sudden shut down (and the battery isnot empty at all)
- generally verheating device (at the top part) and draining battery (the happy period when it was functioning normally, the device overheated only with Skype)
- difficulty to boot (normal procedure deliver jsut this blue screen of deathn then nothing and booting only if the power button is pressed 10- 30seconds)
- very (very!) slow operations (e.g. about 30 secondes to get the camera, 20 secondes to get sms messaging) - Back to the main screen, apps icons appear progressively during 3 to 10 seconds, while they were appearing progressively.
- the gps does not work at all, as confirmed by the diagnostic tools.
So it's unusable. Any 5-year old phone that somebody left in a drawer should be better.
Any advice? (I know I could again make a factory reset from the phone and a software repair with Xperia companion. But it has no effect before. It will just wipe out again everything on my phone.)
All the best to everybody,
Thierry
It seems that you experience this 3 months ago, you can either repair the phone with XC or constant your Local support
I have the same issues in my M4 aqua, did you reach any solution?
Regards,
What does that mean?? Are there different types of quality for the same phone??
I'm checking mine now...
Is it the SI number?? The one above the IMEI, it has four digits a dash, then four more a space and a 2.
Does that 2 mean that it is poor quality? Now I'm starting to understand why the phone usually crashes, the call speaker dead half a year after its purchase, the screen once lowered the quality and now seems to have a lot less contrast, less color info overall, pixels are more visible and if images are still a lot of time, they end up printed on the screeen (for example bottom arrows, when I watch a video on YT, they disappear, but you can still see the shape pictured in the place were they were)...
BTW I can't even turn on the phone without being bluescreened therefore cannot perform Xperia Companion repair...
Thanks for reading.... ;D
