Problems with GPS funkcion.

Hi, XPERIA M4 AQUA to which I constantly fall out GPS signals. Setting up sites I manage, I tried several times to factory settings, I contacted the support but nothing has changed. Someone knows what to do? Perhaps it would help any updates. Thank you for your help.

When I try to uninstall update Google play store
suddenly my M4 GPS failed..
so I can't play Pokemon Go without GPS..
I try test GPS signal with diagnosis but failed too..
why...???

So, it has been a while I'm following this thread and some other places looking for a solution to fix my gps issue. It's really very disappointing that nobody cares to solve this from Sony.

I've bought a Xperia m4 aqua dual on this April and since the first software update (via WiFi) my GPS is not working properly (without WiFi or carriers help). On the very first week of my purchase (not updated yet) I went on a tour to remote areas and without any problem Gps worked fine on Google Map( there was no WiFi, even carrier coverage!). But after coming back to home I updated my phone and Gps started problem with endomodo, even with Google map or geotaging. THIS IS SURELY A PROBLEM CAUSED BY THE UPDATES FROM SONY)

I even updated my device to marshmallow with a hope that Sony may fix this issue now. But it has been totally unnecessary. Mm is not properly built like lollipop yet. And now I cant go back!

The Xperia m4 is not built to connect to gps without any help of WiFi or dataplans.

I also have the same problem. I belive that hardware works very well, because on gps test phone sees a lot of satelites in a very short time.

Did anyonw try to downgrade to kitkat ?

Same problem here, apparently after update gps stops and starts in a few seconds... this is a recording of the Gps status. Satellites goes to 0 then starts again. Without cover, in safe mode... after factory reset... the same problem.

since the day ,i updated my sony m4 software , my gps does not work , i run for sport and i cant watch my performans lol  ths phone has really disappointed me and im not satisfied with it , i ididnt get good credir from the phone for my money i paid for it .Pls someone share an advice except removing the case off the phone , bcz this is not solution .thankyou.

Also experiencing same problems since I updated to Android Marshmallow. On lollipop WiFi wasn't working, and now GPS is completely useless on all apps, be it Google Maps or Nokia Here. So I got lost several times while driving through high traffic abroad, because GPS signal gets constantly lost, and the phone won't lock to any sattelites.

So they screw up key smartphone features like WiFi and GPS on a massive scale, with their own software and don't mind to update it for more than a year!

Never buying a Sony phone again.
