PLEASE.. ANY advice would be amazing

Hi everyone

I don't even know if people still offer help here, but I honestly hope so..

I have a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, and for some reason, my phone just switched off, it had about 30%-ish battery left. I thought it might be the battery, so I plugged it in, and it just kept restarting and restarting and restarting, going no further than the sony logo for like .5 seconds, and restarting the loop.. I can't get the phone to turn on. I tried the volume up+power button, as well, but it just vibrated..

I already took out the sim, and the SD card.. I then also tried turning it on normally, but now i'ts stuck on the sony logo screen thing.. I can't connect it to my pc either, because it won't pick up the device.. I literally scoured the internet for like 4.5 hours, and nothing helps...

I literally can't go without my phone, my father is in another country at the moment for work, and this is the only form of communication we have with eachother...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..

Thanks in advance to anyone who offers some help or advice

Hi @ReallyAgitated, very sorry to hear about this. Slightly_frowning_Face

In this case I would recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Do note that this will delete all data stored on the internal storage and since the phone can't be unlocked, you will not be able to create a backup of the data that you have in the phone.

Should you still not be able to fully boot up the phone, please get in touch with your Local support team so they can arrange a repair for you as the phone will need to be examined at an authorized service centre.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi Jonas

Thanks for the feedback, but unfortunately I have actually bought a new phone earlier today.

I'll look into having it fixed when I can.

Have a great day guys

Sincerely

Hi again!

Oh, I see! I hope that you are satisfied with your new device! Slightly_smiling_Face

Having an extra phone is never a bad thing, so please try the software repair when you have the time and see if that helps! Slightly_smiling_Face

Have a great weekend! Slightly_smiling_Face
