M4 Aqua won't start

Got the phone just 10 days ago and I'm already facing a major problem with it. After shooting a 10 minutes long video I got a message the internal memory is full and the camera stopped recording. Everything was good except the phone working a little bit slower so I decided to restart it. And that killed it. The phone starts, displays the Sony logo, then the Android one, then a blue loading screen appears and that's all - it hungs every time I do it. I still don't have very important data stored in the internal memory so decided to do a hard reset. For my surprise the phone won't boot the recovery mode neither. This is the first phone I've ever seen that is unable to load the recovery mode. Anyway, let's assume I don't press the right key combination so please let me know if you are a 100% sure which keys should be pressed. Thanks!

in my case if i held the volume up button and the power button up it would restart and then after a VERY LONG wait it eventual reached the android os.

Hi. I have had my M4 aqua for half a year, not long ago it started to turn off, even if it had full power. A week ago it turned off all the time and the Wi-Fi stopped working. And when it shut and i tried to turn it on, it wouldn't. I went to the Xperia logo and it went like that till the battery ran out. Now i tried to turn it on again later and now a blue screen comes up. I read that i should connect it to Pc Companion but i can't run on my phone to connect it and reset it. What to do??

Hi. Yesterday my M4 Aqua vinbrated as if i got a mesaagge and just shut down. It won't start when i push the start button or the power up button. When i put it on charge it first displayed no light. Later on it displayed the red charging light so i went to sleep. This morning, there is no light and the phone still does not want to start. What should i do? Do you think that it could be the battery that got too warm as we are on the beach every day?

Ok, so i have an M4 aqua as well as a host of other sony phones. I restarted my M4 when it was running slowly.My M4 Aqua then began so loop on a restart cycle, as well as displaying a few alarming colour changed in the led indicator for battery level. I eventually (after trying 1000 different fixes) tried to cool my phone down as a last resort. I placed my phone in the fridge for 15 minutes. It started then after i took it out of the fridge it started looping again. So i placed it back in, turned of the wi-fi, turned down the screen brightness, removed the sim, removed the SD card and turned of mobile data and bluetooth inorder to slow down the rater the processor would heat up. After i did that i filled a plastic bag with ice and water and tied it very tightly . I placed my phone on this bag, plugged it into the computer and the phone was cool enough that i was able to perform a system save on the phones data onto my pc. I doubt the phone will be ok, but at the very least i was able to record and transfer all the applicable data from one phone to the other and save important information. Hope this helps

hi my xperia aqua was working perfectly until one day while playing Pokemon Go my phone went to a blue screen and turned off. I turned it back on again and the same thing happened this time an annoying noise came with it. So I left it alone and the next day turned it on and it worked but while on youtube the same thing happened again. Afterwards everything I tryed did't work. Please help!!!!

Hi all,

      I am using sony m4 aqua , now i facing the main issues 

1) Phone start up blue screen error.

2) Ram show only 883MB error.

my phone warrenty 1 year complete,last 6.0 Marshmallow update complete ,i facing this issues.

Now 2 types main troubleshooting complete, but no improve my prhone.

1)full hardware reset but phone not re-solved problem.

2)i am using sony flashtool 6.0 Marshmallow os ,full re-installed but no slove my issues.

Now iam 3 main troubleshooting ready process.

1)6.0 Marshmallow downgrade to lollipop.

This troubleshooting sucessfull or not i don't know, plz help any one this process write or not......?????

Hi. I have a similar problem here. My phone worked just fine and now it won't turn on. The red light also appeared. I've tried to restart with power button + volume up, forced restart with the "off" button next to memory card slot. I charged the phone almost 1 hour. My PC does't detect it, so I can't use Software repair. I understand this is not good at all. But maybe there's something else I could do?
