yes, if you e.g. connect the soundbar via HDMI/ARC and the LSR200 via the optical output, you may use them both at the same time.

The sound keeps breaking up even though the speaker is only about 1.5m away from the TV and base station.  Does anyone have a solution please?

In the manual I could find the following though:

The sound is interrupted.
-> Other radio waves are interfering. Keep as far away from wireless
devices or microwave ovens as possible. The sound may be
interrupted if a smartphone or tablet is nearby.

It’s all connected as per instructions. The base is charged but the speaker will not switch on. Is it faulty?

@MBFUHST I think you’d just need a US / UK (if you’re in the UK) plug adaptor.

I don't think it's recommended to use a device from one region to another due to the difference in power specifications. 

But yea, an adapter should make it work.

Hi will I be able to use this Sony speaker and still be able to use my Bose soundbar or will it only work through my TV.

Hi @michaelcguntrip You should be able to use the soundbar and the wireless speaker at the same time. I use mine with a a JVC soundbar. 
My soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI, and the SRS LSR100 is connected to the TV via optical output. 
If it's not working, have a dig around in the TV's audio output settings - look for 'dual output', or something similar. Try different output settings - one will almost certainly work. Especially given that both the TV and speaker are Sony.

That usually depends on your TV model, and whether it supports it or not.
