And one more thing Rickard, Please don't mark any thread as solved untill you provide the users with a concrete working solution. Nothing is solved just as you mark them as solved. Solution means thing should start working after applying that solution.
Couldn't agree more with you Vinni, on both posts, as amatter of fact I just clicked on this link thinking the problem was SOLVED. What bothers me the most is the reluctancy to admiting the mistake. Way to go Sony, now "upgrade" your smart TVs by removing network capabilites.

What's next Rickard? You are going to remove DUAL SIM capability of this phone on behalf of "Platform's limitaion", then Single SIM too, then by the year end another update comes and that will leave our phones only to be used as paper weight or gaming console for PS.
same on z3
It's ridiculous that extremely important features are not available after marshmallow on sony smartphones: 1- dual ringtone settings; and mostly important for me: 2- native support for using SD as internal memory (only possible using adb shell). I'm done with Sony. Going back to Motorola as soon as possible. Aldo this cellphone (z3) literaly burns my ear after a while and gets extremely hot after filming or after a photo session. Also the sim and sd covers and easily tears apart.
Hi there,
I've used SONY duals for 5 years. Recently purchased a Z5 dual (not cheap, brand loyalty). Updated to MM.
Agree with all the feelings here.
Removing the selection of ring tones - bad move.
Then blaming Android for it. More bad moves.
Also - marking the thread as "solved" - anything but.
.... a cheap shot.

Really is this answer from SONY??
Be prepared. Next one, Android N is gonna be worst than this one. "Due to platform limitations we are removing ringtones and dual SIM capability of this model" and in Android O, "Due to platform limitations we are removing SIM capability of this model and now on this model will not support any SIM slot at all". And by the time Android P comes "Due to platform limitations this device can only be used as paper weight henceforth."
I am registering my complaint about this issue. It really is unacceptable.
Use one line for emergency calls and need to know which line is ringing.
Please fix this as soon as possible.

I find this very, very hard to believe having just migrated from a HTC One (M8) Dual Sim, the HTC was able to do this on Lollipop and the functionality remained after updating to Marshmallow. My wife's S6 also manages this without problem. I can send print screens if you require. Android 6 does not have this limitation, and you should be more careful with what you post.
Even though this is my first Sony phone, I have a lot of respect for the brand. Acknowledge the problem, and even if you don't have a solution yet don't stray from the truth.
