This new update removed an important function from my Z5 Premium DUAL. After upgrading I lost the option in settings menu to keep seprate ring tones for SIM1 and SIM2. Can anyone confirm the same problem??? Does anyone have
got any solution or any information regarding the same????

Anyone know if it's possible to uninstall the Android 6.0 update and restore the phone to the previous version so that the dual ringtone returns? This is a huge loss and I can't see any benefit of the new software.

I've received more information on this and in Android 6, it's no longer possible to set ringtone to your second SIM card. This is a limitation on platform level from our platform supplier and this feature will not be available on our products on Android 6.

I'm with you vgs21...it's absolutely unacceptable for a premium phone not being able to support this basic feature of dual SIM phone! And Sony blame it on their hardware platform? This has to be a joke! But unfortunately the joke is on us, the customers!

I've written to Sony and received their unbelievable response saying they have not received any complaints from any other customers about this issue.

Let's call their hotline and continue to write to Sony until they realized their folly! We didn't fork out approx USD700 for a phone without such basic feature as different ringtone for each SIM.

Sony's software developers sux. They don't know how to program. On lollipop you can have one function and on mm you remove it by saying platform is not supported. Don't you even feel shame on being a sw developer,Sony?????? It's better to buy Lenovo or Xaomi or Micromax than Sony who charges 800$ for their phone and don't know how to program important functions of the phone.

This is very bad news, realy it is shame for Sony, I did a mistake that I change my previous Galaxy S6 Dual.

This is so discouraging. That puts me off from upgrading to 6.0, since I want to know if I get a work call or private call, every time. When I bought the phone, it was already annoying to choose a SIM card everytime I wanted to make a call. So I had to install 3rd party app to tie a number to a SIM card. Then another 3rd party app for messaging so I could tie SIM card to a recipient without having to choose it every time.

Now this ringtone thing. Is anybody at Sony actually using their own dual sim phones?

It's a disgraceful on behalf of Sony and frankly it is a blatant misdescription of the phones abilities. This is the 4th version on a Sony Xperia phone I have bought but will be the last Sony if it isn't sorted.
