Z3 = Waterresistant???

Hello everybody

My Xperia Z3 is now 1 month old. I've washed it today the first time, and after 5min, nothing worked anymore. After 30min the phone vibrated for 5min, and then died completely.

I have closed all the closures!

And this isn't the first time, with my old Xperia Z, I've had the same problems. Is Sony so incopetent that tey can't build a waterproof smartphone???

Has anyone the same problem?

I used my phone in a swimming pool and after a minute of using it died, though my notification light continued to blink and the phone was becomming extremely hot, condensation also started appearing on the flash and camera. I thought nothing at first but when I got home and charged it up I still couldn't power it on, and I believed that my phone was left on silent but I had AVG antivirus installed so I was able to try and make my phone shout. It did Shout at full volume like it would normally yet the screen was still dead. I checked the user guide and it stated that:

You can use your device:
• in dusty environments, for example, on a windy beach.
• when your fingers are wet.
• in some extreme weather conditions, for example, when it’s snowing or raining.
• in fresh (non-saline) water depths of 1.5 metres or less, for example, in a fresh water
lake or river.
• in a chlorinated swimming pool.

I previously had an Xperia Z and used it alot underwater I had no problems with it except alot of condenstation in the camera and flash. Extremely annoyed since today was the first day I've properly submerged my Xperia Z3 and I' ve only had it for over a month.

I also found someone with same problem: http://www.abc.net.au/technology/articles/2014/10/08/4102877.htm
